Hurstpierpoint Christmas Fair 2009
Friday 27th November 6.30 - 9pm and
Saturday 28th November 9.30 am to 1pm
Please come and support this annual event and get your Christmas shopping
off to a flying start in the warm environment of the Village Centre.
Cards, gifts, jewellery, stained glass, prints, books, pictures, candles,
decorations, scarves, calendars , chutneys and much more will be available
- with refreshments.
Swimming at the Triangle - 25th January 2010
Over 100 enjoyed the last subsidised swim in the Aztec Leisure Pool.
Our thanks go to the management for a super evening.
Our next swims is on the 25th January 2010. Tickets available from the
Club in January.
Ten Pin Bowling Competition - February 2010
Congratulations to all our bowlers in the last competition, particularly
Lucy Adlam, Catherine Eckford, Rosie Leach, Georgina Harrison, Grace Couchman
& Sacha Lansdall, who repeated the feat of our girls last year and won
the event - organised by the Neighbourhood Youth Service.
Lucy Adlam topped her day by also winning the Individual Highest
Score trophy.
11th Arts Festival Competition - 27th March 2010
A hundred gymnasts took part in the last competition ! - and as many will be preparing
for this event.
The very popular Acrobatic Sixes winners and runners-up will be invited to
perform at the South of England Show at Ardingly on the 13th June.
The 2010 the competition will feature Hoop Solos, Ribbon or Beam Pairs
and the ever popular Acrobatic Sixes.
South of England Show - 12th June 2010
What a super display was put on at the last show by the winners and runners-up
from the Arts Competition.
We are regularly congratulated on our performances at this prestigious event
and have been invited to perform again on 12th June 2010.
26th Annual Championships - 3rd July 2010
Well done to all of the 93 gymnasts who took part in the last Championships.
The 2010 Championship competitions will be on Tuesday 29th June (Boys) & Saturday 3rd July (Girls).
Hurstpierpoint Family Bonfire & Fireworks 2010
Over 1,500 spectators enjoyed a bumper display of fireworks, followed by a giant bonfire. Thank you everyone concerned for your help and support.
The beneficiaries of the event were the Club, Oldland Mill Trust,
Birchwood Grove PTA and the Friends of Hassocks Infants School.

Gym Extra - 2009
350 gymnasts enjoyed additional activities in 2009
:- ten-pin bowling, ice skating, swimming,and a walk round
Arlington.
Tee-shirts and Leotards
Our grant funding is enabling us to provide heavily subsidised Tee-shirts for all gymnasts - only £2 each, while stocks last!
All sizes of new leotards are currently available through the club.

As far as we know most classes are full for this and next term. New applicants are being put on a first-come first-served waiting list. Please let us know as soon as possible if you want a place.
